Welcome to another GhostStorm Review and this time for HOUSE M.D., a game based on the Hit US tv show of the same name. HOUSE M.D. is a very popular tv show and one that I never really thought could be a great game also but, I was proven wrong.

You play through this game as a range of characters and even the whiteboard from the hit show makes several appearances. HOUSE M.D. still has that sarcastic yet funny attitude throughout the diagnostic stages and if you are a fan of the show like I am then you will instantly notice that his lines in this game would definitely be something he would say in the show.

There was however some annoyances, for me at least, it does not matter how many times you have done a certain procedure, such as take blood, you still get told what to do at the bottom of the screen. I looked around in the OPTIONS and did not see anyway of turning that off at all. Other than that the game was fun to play.

As you go through the game meeting all his wonderful patients you get to ask them questions that relate to what they are suffering from etc which helps you by getting you some points. So the more you stay on topic the better really but there is some times other questions that arise that you will ask but they are not always the correct ones.

The game also the similar graphics that would represent a comic book which is kind of cool but you can see that unlike a comic these graphics are the work of a photoshop artists as sometimes its clear that they are just photographs with a thick outline but anyway it has no effect on the great gameplay.

The game will have you thinking and changing your thoughts all the way through it, just like the TV show does and I don’t believe that I had one case of Lupus. On every major stage you go through you will also have to do some clinic duty which is also a great little addition.

This game is a great addition to the HOUSE collection for any fan of the show. This game deserves a high score and it’s going to get one below some shots from the game.

Score

This game gets an 8/10 because it doesn’t matter if you are doing a lumbar puncture or you are in the lab doing numerous other diagnostic procedures you really will enjoy this game and the humour. The game will also be available on the Nintendo DS but as of yet I do not have a date for it’s release so please keep your eyes on GhostStorm.

At some point in your life you will wish that a game you played as a youngster would get re-released and with graphics being as great as they are these days then some of them would look even more amazing. Worms Reloaded proves this, it still has some witty earth munchers in it but now they look more modern than ever. There is some cool features to be had in this game such as an editor that allows you to make your own custom landscapes which is quite easy to use as the trailer below shows:

I was hoping to delve into the online modes aswell for the review but STEAM would not launch the game for me, now this could be because its just been launched and everyone is trying to play it or could just be that STEAM has decided I should have a day off from playing with WORMS.

This game – once you get to play it is really fun, even on its prebuilt landscapes. Hours will seem like minutes and before you know it you have been playing all day! The game also has a cool incentive to buy and thats because Valve are offering Holy Hand Grenades for Team Fortress 2 Soldier with purchase!

Since playing this I cant honestly think as to why I gave up on it 10 years ago, thats how long its been since the last Worms was released btw!! Here are some generic screenshots, they are generic ones as I cannot load the game right now thanks to a STEAM error: wormsreloadedbunkerbust.th Worms Reloaded – Review wormsreloadedexplosion1.th Worms Reloaded – Review wormsreloadedfoombiff20.th Worms Reloaded – Review wormsreloadedicefarzoom.th Worms Reloaded – Review wormsreloadedrocketfort.th Worms Reloaded – Review

The gameplay style is both classic and fresh, Worms Reloaded has over 60 single-player missions, full team and game style customization, landscape editing tools including the ability to import images, HD visuals and all the best weapons from Worms series past and present. As mentioned before there is a bonus for Team Fortress players who get this game too the folks who either pre-ordered Worms Reloaded, or who purchase it before September 2nd 2010, can look forward to exclusive Holy Hand Grenades and a ‘WormsTM-style’ army hat for their soldier in-game!

The Score: As I cannot access the game right now I will end this review, the score may have been a little higher if STEAM would have allowed me access to it.

Hexius – iPhone Review

mzlenqepebb175x17575487 Hexius – iPhone ReviewAbout a week ago Hexius became free for a short time so I grabbed it and installed it to my iPhone and to say it’s addictive is an understatement.

This game has a lot of modes which, thanks to openfeint, it has a load if scores to beat. Personally I think if you get into the top 5 in Time Attack then you are a really talented player and I would love to know your strategy icon smile Hexius – iPhone Review as I can’t even get into the top 100 on some of the modes.

The game deserves a high score and will get a 9 and I am not the only person that feels this way, when you take into account that 500,000 have played it since it’s launched and the ratings have been around the 9 out of 10 Mark then that’s purely evident if a great game. Also this is probably an App that I would have bought if I had noticed it sooner. Not all apps are worth the money but this definitely is.
