Update – First MW3 DLC collection for Non Elite members will be March
As previously reported on Ghoststorm, this week Activision revealed information on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3′s “Content Season”, which is a 9 month schedule of downloadable content, between January and September with a minimum of 20 bits of DLC. The season of DLC will begin on January 24th for Xbox Live customers with premium Elite subscriptions.

The first Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 DLC is due 24th January 2012 which consists of 2 new maps, this kicks off the 9 month Elite content season and is the first of “at least 20″ content drops–meaning new maps, new missions and more deploys!!
If you are a Call of Duty Elite premium member you get the downloads first, the rest have to wait for the DLC bundle to become available.

The Call of Duty Elite mobile app is available now for iPhones/iPod Touch’s and next week for Android smartphones, it will also be optimised for tablet soon after those versions are tested and improved upon. The app is free of charge and you don’t have to be a premium paid member of the Call of Duty Elite service to make use of it.
