GAME, the UK’s leading video games retailer, has released GAME Downloader, a PC application offering customers a smart way to keep their PC games up-to-date.

After a simple installation, the app scans the PC to identify all installed games. These are then recorded in the user’s profile and the app provides daily alerts for the latest downloadable content.

As well as providing a personalised interface, GAME Downloader recommends the patches and fixes required for the customer’s games. It alerts the gamer to the latest patches as soon as they are released, meaning they can keep their games updated without the need to search.

On top of this, users can activate the remote download feature. This provides the facility to automatically download demos, videos, patches and any other relevant files from anywhere else in the world to any home PCs that are registered with the service.

The app also alerts users to the latest game info, including free Mods and Indie games, as well as provide demos and trailers of the latest titles.
