HOW TO FIND ROCKSTAR
Start up multiplayer from the main menu. This will place you into a Free Roam lobby. Add one of the Gamertags above as a friend, and while you’re waiting to receive an invite check out the chat and live stream on the multiplayer events page. Also feel free to play through a few rounds with other players.

HOW DOES FREE ROAM WORK?
Free Roam is the hub of your online experience. Supporting up to 16 players, Free Roam allows you to explore with your friends and enemies, take out the gangs of outlaws launch into more structured gameplay using the markers placed around the world. Rockstar will be forming posses and then heading into several game modes across all of the original multiplayer and the downloadable content during the evening.

To form a posse, press the ‘Back’ button and use the menu. This menu gives you several gameplay options and access to the list of players in your session.

FORMING A POSSE
To start the game, invite your friends, form a posse and find Rockstar, follow these steps:

1. From the main menu, press ‘Start’ and then enter ‘Xbox LIVE Multiplayer’ by pressing the ‘X’ (blue) button.

2. Once in a Free Roam lobby, press the ‘Back’ button to open the in-game multiplayer menu.

3. Press the ‘RB’ button and then the ‘Y’ (yellow) button to ‘Invite Friends’. Invite at least one friend into your posse using the ‘A’ (green) button.

4. Once your friends are in the game, press the ‘Y’ (yellow) button again to return to the ‘Players’ menu and select them with the ‘A’ (green) button to ‘Propose New Posse’ or ‘Send Posse Invite’.

5. Once you and your friends are ready to go, start up the game mode Rockstar are currently playing. This can be found in the chat as the event rolls along.

As stated, pay close attention to the chat to know what game mode Rockstar are currently playing.

To enter the sweepstakes, head over to the multiplayer events page and scroll down to ‘Sweepstakes Entry’. Submit your details and you’re all set. Winners will be randomly selected and contacted the next day. Prize packs include a shirt, foam hand, pin set, license plate, Grand Theft Auto IV stickers and Rockstar stickers.

They will begin the event in Grand Theft Auto IV and later switch over to The Lost and Damned and The Ballad of Gay Tony, about an hour for each. Keep up with the modes they are playing in the chat while watching the live video stream. You’ll be able to play with them no matter what version of the game or episodes you use.

HOW TO FIND THEM
They will begin the event in original Grand Theft Auto IV multiplayer. To join, start the in-game Party Mode using the cellphone. Make sure that your in-game Party Mode team size is at least two people. Once ready, head to the chat to find out the mode they are beginning with, and type your Gamertag into the chat. Another way is just to send over a friend request to the Gamertags above. Rockstar say they will do their best to get you in for a few rounds. More info on using Party Mode is listed below.

ABOUT PARTY MODE
Grand Theft Auto IV’s in-game Party Mode is an easy way to get your group together and find matches. Here are the three quick and easy steps to get you up and running:

1. Save your current game. To get started, fire up the in-game mobile phone by pressing “Up” on the D-pad. Select Multiplayer > Party Mode > Yes.
2. From here, open up your phone again and select the Friends option to invite your friends (you need at least one friend to play with Rockstar).
3. Once your team is ready to roll, open up the in-game phone again and select Ranked > Team Deathmatch for this event. Follow us in the chat to find out the modes we’re playing.

SPECTATE AND CHAT
Can’t jump in and play? As stated above you can still follow the event at the multiplayer events page. They will have a live streaming video broadcast of the in-game matches plus a chat box so you can discuss the stream with others.

Shohei (first from left in picture above) aka @hakuchitare is a huge Rockstar fan who works as an acclaimed illustrator in his native Japan. His distinctive look, with hair shaved on the sides and slicked back on top, will look right in place amidst the gang’s rogues gallery and do well to represent Max Payne 3’s setting of Sao Paulo which has the largest Japanese community in the world outside of Japan.

Hamish (2nd from left) aka @silenthamish had been amongst the most prolific tweeters during the event and went super hard in the final weeks – a massive fan proudly from Melbourne, Australia who’s promised to portray an inherently tough road warrior online.

Jaclyn (3rd from left) aka @jaclynejimenez is a PC gamer from our own homebase of NYC. Her dream of getting her face in the game has come to pass, and looks like she’s ready to celebrate with some Social Club multiplayer event action later this spring as well.

This completely free Bonus Pack DLC is Rockstars token of appreciation for all the amazing Red Dead fans out there especially those who are keeping online multiplayer as busy and as fun as ever, (especially when they turn on the extra XP). Rockstar Games are proud to announce two official L.A. Noire soundtrack releases, the L.A. Noire Official Soundtrack and L.A. Noire: Remixed.

The L.A. Noire Official Soundtrack was inspired by the sweeping orchestral scores of the great films of the 1940s. This all-original score was recorded in London’s legendary Abbey Road Studios and composed by Andrew Hale, of the band Sade and Sweetback and whose credits include scores for such films as Scott Pilgrim vs. the World. The soundtrack also features modern takes on the classic torch songs of the period. Three original vocal recordings were created for the soundtrack, all produced and written by Stephen Coates of (The Real Tuesday Weld) and featuring the guest vocals of Claudia Brucken (of Propaganda). Additional music was composed for the score by Woody Jackson, who won multiple awards for his work with Bill Elm on the original score of Red Dead Redemption.

Players will also hear over 30 classic licensed jazz tracks in the game itself, including songs from such greats as Billie Holiday, Dizzy Gillespie, Ella Fitzgerald, Louis Armstrong and Thelonious Monk.

L.A. Noire Remixed is the fruit of a partnership with Verve Records that provides a modern take on the music found throughout the world of L.A. Noire. This unique EP is a collection of six jazz standards re-interpreted by some of today’s most acclaimed DJs, producers and remixers, including Dave Sitek, DJ Premier and Truth & Soul.
L.A. Noire Remixed and the L.A. Noire Official Soundtrack will be available for purchase on iTunes on May 17th, and look for song previews and additional information to be released at www.rockstargames.com/lanoire next week.
